Aaron Rang, MD is the Medical Director and President for Pacific Inpatient Medical Group (PIMG). He has been a hospitalist since 2000 and joined Inpatient Management Medical Group (IMMG) in 2001. Dr. Rang became the Pacific Campus Medical Director in 2007. In 2011, he was elected to be Associate Medical Director and served in that capacity for over 2 years.

In addition to his hospitalist responsibilities with PIMG, Dr. Rang was recently named the Vice Chair of Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). He chairs the Medication Safety Subcommittee and is certified in Toyota Lean management. Dr. Rang holds an Associate Clinical Professorship in Medicine title at UCSF and Dartmouth School of Medicine.

He completed his residency training at California Pacific Medical Center after receiving his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1997.

Edwin Coe, MD, MBA is the Associate Medical Director and Vice President for Pacific Inpatient Medical Group (PIMG). He was elected to that position in 2013. He received his medical degree from The Medical College of Wisconsin in 1991, completed residency training at California Pacific Medical Center in 1994, and served one year as Chief Medical Resident until 1995.

Dr. Coe has been a hospitalist since 1995, joining the group in 1997 when it was IMMG and remaining with the group when it became PIMG in 2007. He received his MBA from the Haas School of Business, Berkeley in 2003. In addition, Dr. Coe is the Chair of Medicine at CPMC St. Luke's and the Hospitalist Medical Director at Novato Community Hospital.

In his spare time, Dr. Coe loves to play sports, especially golf, spend time with his family and cheer on his beloved Green Bay Packers (not necessarily in that order).”
